Greetings to you all and a Happy New Year.

Although our news is now vastly reduced, I can, at the very least, pass on best wishes from Ran and the expedition team. Everyone is well and adjusting to normal life. No one has been adversely affected by the months of solitude in Antarctica and, to the best of my knowledge, none of the team members is undergoing counselling or suffering from any psychological disorders as a result of their experiences! On the contrary, it seems that normality is a welcome friend and both the team and the support group are coping admirably with the stresses that us normal folk struggle with from day to day. That’s not to say that there isn’t (or there won’t be) any news to give you from time to time. With this in mind, and to save you scanning the website, if you send us your e-mail address we shall write to you with updates as they occur. It is likely that books, a film and a science report will eventually be produced. Some of the team may be giving lectures and attending events. So, if you want to be kept up to date, send your e-mail address to this address: TGExpedition@aol.com  and I’ll include you on our database.

I hope that 2014 will be a good year for you.

With very best wishes from us all,

Anton
