Yesterday’s launch has proven to be a huge success, following a great reception from the media in yesterday’s TV news and radio, and today’s papers. After five years of planning behind closed doors the public announcement of The Coldest Journey was always going to be a fairly momentous occasion for the team and the positive response has been overwhelming. The website has been attracting visitors from all over the world, and our Facebook page and Twitter feed are starting to build up a decent following as well. Thank you to everyone who has helped make the launch such a success!

We’ll be constantly updating the website with more information and images over the coming weeks as we await the arrival of the expedition ship, the SA Agulhas, to British waters, and then as the Ice Team prepares to set off in December.
